Ethanol is a grain alcohol that can blend with gasoline. Ethanol can be fermented from many sources of starch, including corn, wheat, and potatoes. This is a renewable energy resource that is domestically produced, more cost-effective, and burns cleaner than gasoline alone.
An octane rating is a standard measure of the performance of fuel. The higher the octane level, the more compression the fuel can withstand before igniting. Gasoline is generally rated with an anti-knock index number that measures octane quality.
Regardless of what type of vehicle or fuel you use, try to avoid rush-hour traffic and shorten trips whenever possible. Another way to save gas is to minimize vehicle weight. Your card servicer may be placing an authorization hold on your card when you pay at the pump to verify available funds. We will only charge you for the cost of your gas, but it may process later as a separate transaction that releases the authorization hold. This is dependent on your bank or credit servicer. To avoid this issue, pay for the amount of gas you’d like at the register or select credit instead of debit at the pump. We are unable to reverse any holds, as it is not charged by us, so we recommend reaching out to your card issuer if you have any issues with hold charges.
The car wash codes that you purchase are store-specific and are meant to be used at the same location that you purchased your wash from. However, they do not have expiration dates, and if you need additional assistance regarding unused car washes, our in-store team is happy to assist!
Unfortunately, our stores are not always equipped to provide cash-back services, and when available, we do limit cash back to $20. We ask that all requests be verified with our cashiers before you select cash back. However, we have ATMs available at our locations for your convenience!
We are proud to offer curbside and delivery services at three of our locations. This includes the Rockford, Loves Park, and Pingree Grove areas. To order, you simply visit our Order Now page, enter your location, select the items or foods that you would like, and check out with your preferences. Our team will work to prepare your order and deliver it as soon as it is ready (or at your selected time). For curbside orders, you simply give us a call when you arrive at one of our pickup spots so that we can bring your order right to your car.
While we are proud participants in the Exxon Mobil Rewards+ program, the loyalty services are managed through Exxon Mobil directly, and we do not have access to assist with rewards+ issues at Kelley Williamson Co.
